New Buffalo Community Pavilion

The New Buffalo Community Pavilion was envisioned as a flexible, year-round civic anchor, addressing the need for public restrooms and a sheltered gathering space in the heart of downtown.

Designed to host everything from informal daily use to seasonal events like farmers markets, festivals, and winter celebrations, the pavilion would strengthen community life while supporting local businesses through increased foot traffic across all seasons.

Submitted as part of the 2024–2025 Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) Program, the project demonstrates a strategic investment in economic resilience, placemaking, and long-term community growth.
