Toward the end of every year we step away from our desks for a day to visit projects under construction and recently completed, see construction methods firsthand, exchange ideas, and learn together.
This year, we kicked off the day at the new TCA Health Nutrition Center, followed by a quick stop to admire the historic World’s Fair Houses in Beverly Shores. From there, we toured two of our residential projects under construction in Beverly Shores before enjoying a beautiful farm-to-table lunch at Granor Farm, where we raised a glass to Amantur Temirbekov, celebrating his two-year internship at WKA and the many contributions he made to our studio. We rounded out the day with a visit to the Three Harbert school-to-residence adaptive reuse project before making our final stop at Timber Lane Retreat in New Buffalo, Michigan.
