WKA presents at LearningSCAPES 2025

At LearningSCAPES 2025 in Phoenix, AZ, Fabiola Yep and Chris-Annmarie Spencer led a session titled Designing Together: Leveraging Collaborative Design Thinking in Planning Education Spaces. The presentation introduced the Empathy–Define–Ideate workshop, a design thinking approach that helps planners uncover critical insights often missed in traditional facility planning.

Using the Uruguayan American School as a case study, they showed how engaging stakeholders through this collaborative process transformed qualitative feedback into clear design strategies, ultimately shaping a successful school-wide renovation.
