“I’m so grateful to work with a team whose dedication to design excellence—and to making a positive difference in people’s lives—shines through at every scale and budget. It inspires me every day.”
Beth Garneata
Since joining Wheeler Kearns in 2014 as Studio Coordinator, Beth has become the connective thread behind the firm’s voice and story. Using her architectural training, she helps the studio communicate its ideas with clarity, creativity, and impact. Her work spans developing strategies, crafting collateral, managing proposals and award submissions, website content, and social media.
Beth is also the primary contact for marketing and PR, new project inquiries, and vendor presentations, and she organizes the firm’s annual Project Tours and Office Trip.
She graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science, and moved to Chicago shortly after a six month design studio in the Merchandise Mart. Prior to joining Wheeler Kearns, Beth worked in administrative and design roles in the AEC industry before pursuing a role in marketing and development.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Architecture, Beth first came to Chicago through a design studio at the Merchandise Mart. Before joining WKA, she held administrative and design roles in the AEC industry, where she discovered her passion for helping design firms tell their stories and highlight their meaningful work.
Outside the studio, Beth and her husband live near Lake Michigan with their twins. She enjoys running the lakefront to catch the sunrise, beach volleyball, golfing, and exploring new cities.
