A new two story residence fronts onto a 10 acre park amongst mature oak trees. The taut, stained cedar facade is marked by ribbons of windows that have generous northern, eastern, and southern exposures.
The first floor’s open plan affords ample light and view to all public and family spaces. The upper floor accommodates four bedrooms surrounding a day-lit open stair and sky-lit shared family space.
Eight-inch wide cedar shiplap siding wraps the building, interrupted by rows of clad wood awning windows. A series of ipe steps leads to the front and rear door entry, which is protected by a steel plate canopy.
