Currently in design, WKA is partnering with the Institute of Nonviolence Chicago on a new headquarters through the adaptive reuse of an existing building on the city’s West Side. The design supports the organization’s mission of reducing gun violence through wraparound services, creating a space for healing, connection, and community support. Grounded in the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it aims to embody dignity, compassion, and hope.
