Granor Farm

Set on a 10-acre site west of Three Oaks, Michigan, this project creates the state’s first certified organic vegetable farm through a phased masterplan of new and restored structures.

The original 16′ × 24′ frame house was rehabilitated and repainted white to function as office and staff lodging. New construction includes a utility/entry dogtrot and a one-story kitchen, dining, and porch volume, both clad in galvalume with red siding used selectively as an accent. The initial phase delivered a vehicle barn and greenhouse; the second phase added an exterior solar-heated washstand and a 40′ × 60′ two-story barn with seasonal staff quarters.
