Located in Spring Green, Wisconsin, a grass-fed beef farm and homestead was designed adjacent to meadows that overlook Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin.
Wide eaves, supported by cantilevered glue-laminated beams, shelter the house from the summer sun, while welcoming the cooling breezes. On the interior, Douglas fir beams and ceilings are offset by porcelain tile floors and plaster walls. A geothermal mechanical system incorporates radiant floors throughout the home.
