Lakeview Pantry

Lakeview Pantry strives to serve its clients with respect and dignity. The new facility—designed to foster a personal shopping experience in a positive environment—combats the stigma often associated with receiving food assistance with a warm, welcoming environment that is efficient and functional.

The rehabbed 7500 sf masonry building—which doubles the amount of space of their previous location—provides more room for its food distribution and social service programs, as well as having the ability to house all staff in one building (previously scattered at different offices throughout the neighborhood). The program includes a waiting area, distribution counter, walk-in freezer/cooler, dry storage, sorting room, private meeting spaces, conference room, staff offices, volunteer storage and shared lunch room/café.
